The town centre is a delightful short walk along the sea front, or you can spend your day on the terrace with a cold drink, or enjoy afternoon tea taking in the magnificent views of the bay. The large ships & ferries pass so close you almost think you could reach out and touch them. In the evening watch the sun go down in breath taking colour over Oban Bay & the mountains beyond.
Glenrigh Guest House has one of the the best locations in the area and is recognised for its well presented large individual bedrooms, comfort and style. Staff work hard to maintain our valuable reputation & will do their best to exceed your individual needs & expectations during your stay, which is not always possible in larger hotels.
Location of Glenrigh Guest House
Along the whole of the sea front roadway (Esplanade) Glenrigh and our sister guest houses (MacKay's, Visit Scotland 4* and Barriemore, Visit Scotland 4*) are only two of three establishments which can offer all our guests guaranteed FREE private off street parking day & night. This is a great stress free bonus. Parking on the sea front is mostly controlled & restricted with yellow lines everywhere, leaving only 300 yards where it is almost impossible to find an evening or overnight parking space due to the excessive demand of tourists from other properties with limited parking.
Parking is available at £7 per night, or £40 per week, for any guest wishing to leave their car in Oban whilst visiting the Western Isles.
